How great Angela! Of course I follow your blog already! I love to read but usually stick to novels. I should start reading some of the ones you suggested! I think I'm ready to be open minded.

You are so wonderful Angela! I'm a novel reader and a big Twilight fan. I've been hooked on Vampire books since I finished the Twilight series. I definitely probably need to read some inspiration and motivation books after reading all of those vampire books LOL! Thanks for listing your suggestions!

you know, I didn't learn how to "read" until sixth grade...so I'm really slow at reading and books are hard for me to follow...I'm learning as I get older how to accommodate (and I def. had a problem while teaching--RDG! I did it for 7 years--the kids did great-but could def. out read me!!!)....My fav fav fav book is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It was over 1000 pages and I read it (the entire thing) in high school--made me feel good:)

I love visiting your site--you ROCK! THANKS:)

What a cool blog post! I need to put some of these on my list. Currently, I'm reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood, funny because I found it on the Unity forum. I think you were talking about it with Christi. :)

I love the whole series of historical novels by Bernard Cornwell. He writes about the history of the medieval knights and King Arthur. Really quite educational, even though I know there's some poetic license in it.

I love your blog!!! I love reading - but my reading usually ends up in a book I can't put down. It's like as addiction - then I take a break until I read more. I read pretty quickly because I sometimes tend to tune everything out and just read until the book ends. Books like this for me include Harry Potter, Twilight, most Dean Koontz books. My fave book has to be The Road. I should read this again. I thought I hated it at the end because I was so affected! I couldn't stop thinking about it. But now I know that it is a fabulous book!!! I am a follower as MK!

THANKS for the chance to win this book!!! I try to surround myself with these types of books and read one in between novels. This is one I have not come across yet. I LOVE to read and my taste varies quite a bit. The Twilight Saga is my ALL Time FAV. I recently read(and really enjoyed) some books that are a continuation of the Pride & Prejudice movie from 2001, by a current author. I am about to start Lovely Bones.Hope it's as good as the movie looks.

Looking at the nonfiction books that you like, I would recommend "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. It is a really phenomenal and very inspiring book.

As for fiction, I just recently read "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. It's about a girl during the Holocaust; incredibly sad, but so well written.

I don't usually read motivational books because I fall asleep. I think it reminds me of learning/school and I hated school; well at least the learning part of it!! I read adventure/drama. I love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum's series!! So funny, so much energy!!! I also love John Grisham's books!!!

Ahhh. The books. I love them. I love the connection we have through them. I love the SAME exact books you love. I'd LOVE to read "if life is a game". Motivational books, and self improvement books help me through everything. EVERYONE should read Celestine Prophecy. It's the ultimate uplifting book.

Hi Angela! I LOVE your list of books...adding to my wishlist for sure! I love all books...especially mythology...currently reading Twilight...thanks to my niece...not exactly a total page turner for me but just enjoying reading for a change...never enough time....as our boys get older...I am getting more ME time....thx for the chance to win a great book!

Such great books...thanks for sharing them ~ I actually have some of them, but excited to get the rest!

I pretty much read anything, I've always had this passion for reading and being able to read in two and a half languages (the 1/2 is my very underutilized Italian), it really opens so many possibilities.

One of the books I just finished reading is Michael J. Fox's book entitled Always Looking Up...a must read! His amazing optimism in the middle of so many challenges is uplifting and really makes you put things into perspective...it's really made it easy to let go of the little things.

Hi Angela

I love reading and think I could do with some motivation at the moment - the possitive energy is a bit low.
My fave books are any that make it hard to put them down, big fan of J D Robb (a bit cheesy but a great read)

Hmm....I will have to check out your picks. The only one I have read is Follow the River. What an amazing story! Epitomizes the spirit of a woman, don't you think? I remember reading it way back when I was pregnant with Jordan-some 14 years ago. It is sitting on my shelf...perhaps I will have to pick it up again. :)

I'm one of those people who will read the back of a tissue box if there's nothing else to read. I'm on a mystery kick right now, specifically books by Sharyn McCrumb. Well, and textbooks on Dreamweaver and Fireworks...
